The Coalition Support Community

A supportive community to help house young people aged 20-30 with mental health challenges.

Religious young people face unique difficulties and expectations when struggling with their mental health. They may want to go to university, integrate into the labor force, and develop social relationships, but grappling with mental illness often leaves them little choice but to live with their parents. The goal of our project is to establish co-living spaces for young people, in which they can receive the communal support provided by a traditional home.

The home will open in Kiryat Ata and will offer classes, a therapeutic support network, and help with academic studies and social activities.
