Rabbi Hollander is a faculty member at the Mandel Institute for Leadership. During the 2023-25 war he served as personal assistant to the IDF Chief Rabbi and as commander of the Halacha unit in the military rabbinate's war room. He is a member of the Beit Hillel rabbinical organization.

Meital is Vice President at the Briah Foundation for Women’s Health, a member of the National Council for Women’s Health and a member of the Mabat Forum for the Promotion of a Trauma-Informed Healthcare System. She is co-director of the Shared Balance initiative, which works to support parents and medical teams in intensive care and rehabilitation units. She was named one of Israel's 15 Most Influential Activists by Lady Globes magazine in 2019, and as Woman of the Year by the Emunah organization in 2020.
